The Life and Times of Jim
Hi, there. I'm Jim. Welcome to my phlog!
This site was written for Las Vegas, then LouisVille. Now, it seems to be about anywhere. In these phlogs, you'll see a lot of my personal notes and pictures. I like to post my observations here to remember life and celebrate it. I'm not religious. I don't pray for good fortune. I'm ecstatically grateful for the gift of life and I think our time should be remembered and not taken for granted. I'm not a writer. I think pictures tell stories so much better than words. I love just about everything in this life, and, I guess that would have to include you. So, if you've seen me, don't be surprised if your picture is in here somewhere. Of all the critters, people are absolutely the most interesting.

 jim  Biloxi-Hard Rock Hotel room
The Hard Rock Hotel has one of the best rooms I have ever stayed in. It comes with a stocked bar, three head shower, view of the Gulf and Beau Rivage, and a flat screen TV. The beds have 12 pillows! Oh, and the TV has a table under it, where you can put two laptops on each side (just like our apartment). There is a Bose stereo has a connection for my IPhone, and it sounds great. If you are wondering how much...it cost $59 a day!!!

 jim  Tallahassee is hilly!
Tallahassee is hilly! We loved the southern cuisine at the Ole Country Buffet, and those wonderful southern accents.
Our La Quinta Hotel room was very nice (did not see any of the roaches that we've become accustomed to in our travels).
We helped an elderly homeless person, who seemed lost.
She walked past us, then down a hill. I saw her looking through a trash can.
I turned to catch up with her, we stopped her and Becky gave her some money.
We hope, maybe, on this December 19th, she'll find warmth in her long cold night.
